At Piedmont Ear, Nose, Throat and Related Allergy, we offer a full range of services including minor surgical procedures.

Allergy-related Services
In our Allergy department we offer comprehensive diagnostic services to find out what allergens (substances causing allergic reactions or symptoms) to which you are sensitive. We are able to test your reactions to over 30 different known allergens. After the test is performed, our physicians will place you on an allergy management program. This program could include recommendations for removal of certain known allergens from your environment, recommendations regarding plants in and around your home and could include a recommendation for regular allergy injections. Should injections be necessary, our allergy specialists will create a serum which will be designed to combat your unique allergy profile. In many cases you may be taught to administer your own injections in the privacy of your home. We will constantly monitor your situation and make adjustments to your allergy regimen as necessary. For those patients that have a fear of needles or receiving injections, sublingual therapy (placing the extract under your tongue for absorption) may be recommended by your provider.

Audiology Services
In our Audiology department, we offer a variety of comprehensive hearing screening and advanced hearing diagnostic testing. Working with our physicians, our audiologists assist in the diagnosis and management of a variety of types of hearing loss and vertigo and balance problems.  In addition to in-office Audiology services, our Audiology department also offers OSHA-mandated jobsite industrial hearing screening for people who work in environments where there is the potential for hearing loss.

Available Products
In addition to Audiology treatments, we offer a variety of hearing-assistance products and hard-of-hearing devices. Other products offered by our Audiology department include custom ear molds for cell phones and iPods, as well as custom swim molds and sound protection devices.

Diagnostic and Treatment Services
Our physicians offer total diagnostic and treatment services for most diseases related to the ear, nose and throat. This may include evaluation and treatment of cases from simple sinusitis, removal of cysts or polyps, to advanced hearing reconstruction. Our otolaryngologists are highly skilled in the diagnosis and treatment of various diseases of the larynx (voice box). We offer in-office endoscopic evaluation and video capture of pharyngeal (swallowing) and laryngeal disorders. In addition to basic ENT evaluation, our physicians offer diagnosis and treatment of sleep disorders.
