Dr. KinaelyDr. Brian P. Kinealy is a fellowship-trained otolaryngologist specializing in the medical and surgical treatment of disorders of the ear, nose, throat, and related head and neck structures.

He completed a fellowship in Rhinology and Anterior Skull Base Surgery at Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine in 2025, with advanced training in the management of complex sinus, nasal, and skull base conditions.

Dr. Kinealy completed his residency in Otolaryngology–Head and Neck Surgery at the University of Kentucky from 2020 to 2025, a high-volume program without fellows that provided extensive experience across rhinology, otology, laryngology, and comprehensive ENT care. He also completed his internship at the University of Kentucky Albert B. Chandler Hospital.

He earned his Doctor of Medicine from the University of Missouri School of Medicine after completing post-baccalaureate training at Washington University in St. Louis and a Bachelor of Science from the University of Notre Dame, where he studied Science Pre-Professional Studies and Psychology.

Dr. Kinealy has extensive research experience in rhinology, otology, skull base disease, and outcomes-based ENT care, with multiple peer-reviewed publications and national presentations. His work has focused on chronic rhinosinusitis, hearing restoration, and improving access to and quality of ENT care through clinical outcomes research.

In addition to his clinical and academic work, Dr. Kinealy has participated in international medical service, leadership roles in residency education, and multidisciplinary research collaborations across major academic institutions.

Dr. Kinealy is board eligible in Otolaryngology- Head and Neck Surgery. He passed the written board examination in 2026 and is scheduled to take the oral board examination in 2029. He is a member of multiple professional organizations, including the American Academy of Otolaryngology–Head and Neck Surgery, the American Rhinologic Society, the Triological Society, the American Academy of Otolaryngologic Allergy, the Missouri State Medical Association, and the Georgia Society of Otolaryngology.

Dr. Kinealy enjoys providing comprehensive ENT care with a special interest in sinus and nasal disorders, chronic rhinosinusitis, allergy, nasal obstruction, advanced sinus and skull base surgery, revision functional endoscopic sinus surgery (FESS), and Inspire therapy. He looks forward to expanding rhinology services at Piedmont ENT while continuing to care for patients with a wide range of general ENT conditions.

Originally from St. Louis, Dr. Kinealy is fluent in Spanish and is known for his approachable, team-oriented style. He and his wife are excited to return closer to family following his fellowship.
