Dr. Brian P. Kinealy is a fellowship-trained otolaryngologist specializing in rhinology, sinus and nasal disorders, and anterior skull base surgery. He provides comprehensive medical and surgical treatment for conditions affecting the ear, nose, throat, and related head and neck structures for patients in Atlanta, including chronic rhinosinusitis, nasal obstruction, and other complex sinus conditions.
Education and Training
Dr. Kinealy completed a fellowship in Rhinology and Anterior Skull Base Surgery at Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine in 2025, where he received advanced training in the diagnosis and treatment of complex sinus, nasal, and skull base conditions.
He completed his residency in Otolaryngology–Head and Neck Surgery at the University of Kentucky from 2020 to 2025. As a high-volume program without fellows, his residency provided extensive experience across rhinology, otology, laryngology, and comprehensive ENT care. He also completed his internship at the University of Kentucky Albert B. Chandler Hospital.
He earned his Doctor of Medicine from the University of Missouri School of Medicine after completing post-baccalaureate training at Washington University in St. Louis. He earned his Bachelor of Science from the University of Notre Dame, where he studied Science Pre-Professional Studies and Psychology.

He has also participated in international medical service, residency education and leadership, and multidisciplinary research collaborations across major academic institutions.
Dr. Kinealy is board eligible in Otolaryngology–Head and Neck Surgery. He passed the written board examination in 2026 and is scheduled to take the oral board examination in 2029.

Originally from St. Louis, Dr. Kinealy is fluent in Spanish and takes an approachable, team-oriented approach to patient care. He and his wife are excited to be closer to family following his fellowship. Dr. Kinealy looks forward to expanding rhinology services at Piedmont ENT and caring for patients with sinus, nasal, ear, throat, and other ENT conditions.
